Exploring Expertise is a conference for students in grades 8-12 and their parents. We invite talented and motivated adolescents to spend the day learning about potential career directions. Informational sessions are available on a variety of topics of interest to parents and students.
Parents can speak with staff from the Admissions and Financial Aid departments, for example, while students hear experts in a wide variety of disciplines share their passions and talk about the kinds of careers available in their fields. There will be information that is specific to the University of Connecticut as well as sessions on topics such as Choosing a College Major that are useful to students going to any university.
Presented by the Neag School of Education, and the Renzulli Center for Creativity, Gifted Education, and Talent Development
